Welcome onboard leg two of your Europe trip. It is now time to kick back, relax and enjoy cruising the Mediterranean with your friends. We have created this travel journal to help you get familiar with the daily plan, understand logistics, prepare for travel and of course get you excited about this 9-day yacht trip exploring the coast of Corsica and Sardinia onboard Motor Yacht Minor Family Affair.

Day Summary
Welcome onboard Motor Yacht Minor Family Affair! We have an ETA onboard at 4 PM and after a bit of travel, we propose settling into your cabins and enjoying a quick freshen-up before a light lunch onboard. The evening allows some free time to explore Bonifacio's beautiful little town or maybe even some exercise to stretch your legs. You also have the option of jumping into the tender to go explore the caves with a swim. For those keen to get straight into relaxation mode there will be a masseuse onboard to help fast-track this. Sunset drinks followed by dinner will be served on the sundeck of the yacht.

The 35.15m Princess motor yacht MINOR FAMILY AFFAIR was launched in 2017 and the newest of its kind and is part of the award-winning Princess 35m range and was the star of the show at the 2018 Dusseldorf Boat Show. Her most impressive feature is undoubtably the generous space offered both internally and externally with ample areas for relaxation, dining and entertainment, which is uncommon for her size. With very little prior use MINOR FAMILY AFFAIR is in immaculate condition offering a light and contemporary style throughout. MINOR FAMILY AFFAIR has been installed with the highest technology and AV systems to ensure guests have all the amenities and luxuries at the touch of a button. Not forgetting her extensive selection of water toys for adventurous guests looking to explore on or in the water.

Day 2 Thurs, 13 JULY 2023
Day Summary
We leave Bonifacio port and head to Cavallo and Lavezzi Islands where you have the option to explore the town of Cavallo, swim near Piana Island, and enjoy a leisurely lunch while cruising to Folaca Bay. Spend the afternoon swimming and engaging in water sports or go visit Porto Vecchio from Plage de la Folaca by vehicle. Later in the evening, there is a tender transfer to Sea Lounge Da Mare for dinner and drinks before returning to Minor Family Affair.

Day 3 FRI, 14 JULY 2023
Day Summary
Visit Budelli Island's Pink Beach for a morning of kayaking, walking the trails, and exploring. Afterward, we reposition the yacht to Spalmatore Beach for lunch at La Scogliera restaurant in Maddelena. When you are ready, return to the yacht for watersports and swimming in the afternoon, followed by a relaxing cocktail hour on the sundeck and dinner onboard.

Day 4 sat, 15 JULY 2023
Day Summary
We depart for Baia Sardinia, where you can enjoy breakfast while cruising to the anchorage. Upon arrival we transfer ashore for a guided e-bike riding expedition around Baia Sardinia and nearby areas. Find your inner child at Aquadream Water Park and then return to the yacht for lunch. A masseuse will be onboard for a couple of hours so those who need some pampering please indulge. Let's meet for cocktail hour on the sundeck before we head off for a memorable dinner at Le Terrazze Ritual. Later in the evening, we make our way to Phi Beach where a VIP table has been reserved and we can dance the night away. When you're ready, a private vehicle will be arranged to take you back to the port.

Day 5 sun, 16 JULY 2023
Day Summary
After breakfast, we say our goodbyes to Justin & Brittany as they disembark the yacht. The yacht will then cruise to Isola Giardinelli for a day at anchor. Lace up those walking shoes as we embark on a scenic hike from Casa Garibaldi to Cala Napoletana. The crew will be waiting for you at the end of your hike with beachside drinks, towels, and umbrellas to enjoy some time on the beach. Return to the yacht for lunch onboard. Spend the afternoon swimming, paddleboarding, or relaxing onboard before we enjoy the daily sundowners on the sundeck.

Day 6 mon, 17 JULY 2023
Day Summary
Depart early for Cala di Volpe anchorage for a morning of swimming and water sports. We head ashore for lunch at Nikki Beach following cocktails and drinks whilst we enjoy the beach club atmosphere. Return to the yacht by 6 pm in order to cruise south to Cala Luna, admiring the scenic islands along the way whilst we have drinks and dinner underway.

Day 7 Tues, 18 JULY 2023
Day Summary
Begin with breakfast onboard before heading off to explore the caves or go ashore to take a walk along the high trail. Return to the yacht at your own pace. Enjoy a variety of water sports before settling down for lunch. In the afternoon, feel free to relax or engage in water sport activities or shore excursions of your choice. Later in the evening, we'll celebrate Josh's birthday with a special dinner followed by drinks and a lively party onboard. A DJ will be onboard, and the caves will be beautifully lit up by the yacht's searchlights.

ITINERARY
Day 8 wed, 19 JULY 2023
Day Summary
We depart early towards Brandinchi beach. Breakfast will be served under way. We drop anchor at Brandinchi Bay near Impostu Beach, where guests will be transferred ashore for a unique farm and Sardinian culinary experience. Enjoy lunch ashore, and when you are ready to depart a private vehicle will be waiting for you. Guests will return onboard the yacht with a tender pick-up at Porto Rotondo. We'll anchor near the area, allowing you to swim and enjoy water sports for your last afternoon. To get rid of the "end of trip" blues, a masseuse will be onboard for a two-hour session. As the day comes to an end, we'll head into port for our final night at Porto Rotondo. A themed light dinner will be served onboard, providing a perfect conclusion to 9 days cruising the Corsica and Sardinian coastlines.

Day 9 Thurs, 20 JULY 2023
Day Summary
Last breakfast onboard followed by exploring the charming town of Porto Rotondo on foot. As the yacht trip comes to a close, it's time to bid farewell to the crew. A private vehicle will be arranged to transfer you to Olbia Smeralda Airport. From there, you'll embark on a private flight to Paris, marking the end of your journey, floating between the islands of France and Italy.

COVID19 VACCINES
Travellers are no longer required to hold a negative test result nor present vaccination certificates upon entry to these countries. We do, however, advise you to bring along your vaccination certificates to have on hand should they be requested at any point during the journey.
PASSPORTS
You must hold a valid passport to enter Spain, France and Italy. Your passport should be valid for six months from the date of departure from the USA. It is important to note that two clear pages should remain in your passport for it to be valid.
Cash & Credit Cards
Credit cards are widely accepted in Corsica and Sardinia, but having cash on hand for smaller purchases is a good idea. A number of clubs, bars and restaurants allow you to pay by card, however, some of the more boutique stores do not, so be sure to have a combination of cash and card.
Travel Insurance
Adequate, comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover you, as well as any dependents/travelling companions, for the duration of the trip, is a compulsory requirement and you should ensure you obtain sufficient cover prior to arrival at your destination. It should include cover in respect of, but not limited to, the following eventualities:

clothing attire recommendations
During the day, beach wear and swimwear with open shoes are commonly worn
in the islands however at night, please note that in the Mediterranean at most
restaurants the expectation is that men wear long pants, loafers, closed shoes
or in some locations elegant leather sandals (shorts and flip flops as evening
wear are generally not accepted in more elegant or high-end locations).
